IELTS Registration 2023 

IELTS Application Form: The IELTS exam is conducted in India by IDP India throughout the year. To register online, candidates can visit the IELTS exam registration portal on its official website. Candidates who want to know how to fill out the IELTS application form can download the application form from the link given on the official page. Candidates can complete their IELTS registration based on their preferred exam date. The IELTS exam registration form can be submitted either online or offline. Candidates will receive an acknowledgement of the IELTS exam IDP, once all the procedure to fill IELTS application form is completed.
Candidates are advised to schedule IELTS after considering the admission deadline of their preferred college or university.

There are three ways in which you can register for your IELTS.

• Register in person at any IDP branch or input node.
• Register online and pay the test fee using a credit card.
• Register by courier and pay the test fee by DD (demand draught) or ICICI deposit/HDFC deposit slip. 

1) Register online and pay

Step 1: Log on to www.ieltsidpindia.comSelect the option "Register for IELTS"

Step 2: Go to ‘Register for Test’ option

Step 3: Select your preferred test, test type, and available test date in the city

Step 4: Give your personal details.

Step 5: Give your registration details.

Step 6: Upload copies of your passport.

Step 7: Select the list of colleges to which you want to send your score report.

Step 8: Review your details one last time before making payment.

Step 9: Pay the IELTS test fee of INR 16,500. 

Once you are done with your registration, you will receive a confirmation on your computer screen (take a printout of it and keep it with you for future reference). A hard copy of the confirmation copy will also be sent to your registered email address.

A photocopy of your passport (first and last page) and any observation pages will need to be couriered to the IDP Head Office (address provided below). If you fail, you will not be allowed to appear in the examination. You are required to carry your original passport on test day. 

2) in person at any IDP branch or input node 

Walk into any IDP branch, head office, or your nearest input node. You can use either of the following methods to register: 

Method-1

• Register online using a computer at the office and pay the test fee. You will receive an immediate confirmation of your seat (identical to online registration).
• A photocopy of your passport needs to be submitted (first & last page), and observation pages, if any
• Submit duly signed Terms and Conditions documents. Read it properly before handing it over.
• Collect your instant acknowledgement letter that confirms your seat in the test. 

Method-2

• Fill out the application form available at the IDP office or input node.
• You have to sign the terms and conditions document provided with the application form.
• A photocopy of your passport needs to be submitted (first & last page), and observation pages, if any
• Pay the test fee either by 
• A credit card, debit card, ATM card, or
• Demand Draught (in favour of "IDP Education India Private Limited, payable at New Delhi") It should be made only from the approved list of banks (provided in the terms and conditions document).
• Deposit cash in an ICICI bank branch via a customised ICICI deposit slip, which will be either downloaded from the IDP IELTS website or collected from any IDP branch office or input node. The original customer copy of the customised ICICI deposit slip must be handed over to the IDP branch office or the input node as proof of payment. 

3) Register by courier and pay the test fee by demand draught, ICICI deposit, or HDFC deposit slip. 

Download the application form from www.ieltsidpindia.com. Alternatively, you can collect the application form from your nearest IDP branch office or input node. 

• Fill out the application form.
• Submit duly signed Terms and Conditions documents. Read it properly before handing it over.
• A photocopy of your passport needs to be submitted (first & last page), and observation pages, if any
• Deposit cash in an ICICI bank branch via a customised ICICI deposit slip, which will be either downloaded from the IDP IELTS website or collected from any IDP branch office or input node. The original customer copy of the customised ICICI deposit slip must be handed over to the IDP branch office or the input node as proof of payment.

The duly filled and completed application form needs to be sent with all necessary documents and the test fee too.
